Australian born Jackie Aitken is a highly sought-after performer. Having a decade of worldwide professional experience, she is currently living her dream in New York City.

Jackie moved to America when she was accepted into the world famous high kicking troupe, The Radio City Rockettes. In 2014, she performed The Christmas Spectacular at The Grand Ole Opry, Nashville, and following years in New York City, at the renowned Radio City Music Hall.

With the Rockettes, you would have seen Jackie performing numerous times on television, such as in The Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, NBC Rockefeller Tree Lighting, The Today Show, The Chew, Live with Kelly and Harry Connick Jr show. You also would have spotted Jackie in Pandora Jewelry and New York & Co’s store nationally for their Christmas campaign.

Jackie’s talent and natural beauty, has seen her dancing and modeling for major brands internationally. To name a few companies for example, Desigual, Staud, Puma, Issey Miyake, Lancôme, Arena Swimwear, Diane Von Furstenberg, Schwarzkopf, L’Oréal, Sony and Amazon. She has appeared in television commercials for Nutella, Nurofen and Channel V, and featured in music videos for Eskimo Joe and Massive Attack Artist Tricky.

In her career, she has worked with Choreographers such as Ryan Heffington, The Squared Division, Jermaine Browne and Shannon Holtzapffel.

Recently Jackie had the pleasure performing in the world premiere of Burning Desire, starring and written by Lou Diamond Phillips, in the equity theatre Seven Angels Theatre, Connecticut.

Jackie’s professional career started of young at the age of 18years old, when she was hired, and moved to Paris, to dance at the world’s most famous cabaret, Moulin Rouge. Jackie’s time there had her quickly learning the Principal and Soloist roles of the Cabaret. Moulin Rouge opened up many opportunities for her, being chosen for several photoshoots and interviews for magazines Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar and Women’s Day. She also got to tour with Moulin Rouge to New York City, Singapore and her home country Australia.

Other dance credits of Jackie are with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and The Sydney Show boat.

Jackie trained her whole life at Conroy Dance Centre in Brisbane, one of Australia’s top performing art schools. She trained intensely in jazz, ballet, tap, musical theatre and hip hop. Completing major examinations in R.A.D. Classical Ballet, and C.S.T.D. examinations in jazz and tap, also gaining her teachers diploma with C.S.T.D.
